About Me
Kim Spangler
ADHD Coach and Nerd Extraordinaire
If you’re anything like me, you’ve spent a good chunk of your life wondering why “adulting” seems to come so easily to everyone else — while you’re just trying to keep your head above water. I get it because that was me too.
Why I Became an ADHD Coach
I was diagnosed with ADHD a few months before my 40th birthday. I began researching ADHD because my oldest daughter showed signs of it — it was then that the light bulb finally went off for me. Suddenly, all those years of feeling like I just couldn’t get my shit together made sense. Shortly after my diagnosis, two of my three kiddos were diagnosed as well. I dove headfirst into learning everything I could about ADHD, determined to help not only myself but also my children.
The more I learned, the more I realized that no one should have to spend 40 years feeling like they’re failing at life. That’s why I became an ADHD coach — to help others understand their brains, find the hacks that work for them, and build a life they actually love.
What’s it like to work with me?
I’m not your typical coach. I bring my own brand of realness, humor, and a deep understanding of what it means to live in the trenches with ADHD. My coaching style is all about finding practical, creative solutions that fit your unique life. Think of me as your guide to unlocking your ADHD cheat codes — because who doesn’t love a good hack?
When I’m not coaching, you’ll probably find me:
There’s a lot of ADHD Coaches. Why work with me?
Because I’ve been there. I know what it’s like to feel like you’re always one step behind, and I know how life-changing it can be to finally understand yourself. My goal is to help you go from feeling like you’re barely getting by to living a life that feels right for you — ADHD and all. It’s not about “fixing” your brain, because it’s not broken. I’m here to help you see that you don’t suck at life — you just need the right tools and a little guidance to build the life you want.
So if you’re ready to take control, level up, and maybe even have a little fun along the way, let’s connect.
P.S. I think it’s important to say that I may NOT be your cup of tea, and that’s absolutely OK. Coaching is a partnership, and if that partnership doesn’t pass the vibe test, then I will happily recommend a coach who may be more your style.
